Updated 12/21/12
Below is FFPrep’s Fantasy Football Draft Pick Trade Analyzer.
Just type in the Draft Picks you are trading away on the left and the Draft Picks you are receiving on the right and it will tell you how many points each pick is projected to score per game (using the total points for that pick+/- 5 draft picks). This tool works for picks #1 – #220. You can now combine draft picks with players for a more clear picture of offseason transactions.

I like this draft analyzer, but can you give me your thoughts on this one.

There is a big difference in values from your site and compared to this site.
I think your site is much more accurate.
I like KFFL’s as well. They must use different metrics then we use. I base FFPrep’s off the top 5 players that could have been drafted at that pick. So for the 1st pick, I averaged the top 5 players in the league last year to get the value. This somewhat accounts for the fact not everyone drafts the same.
I appreciate your comment. Please email me if you have any questions before the season starts or during the year. [email protected] – I’ll have the rankings updated for you soon.
Thanks,
Mark
The DPTA states: “. . . it will tell you how many points each pick is projected to score over the remainder of the season . . . “, however the points are showing the projected PPG not reaminder on season aren’t they. You updated 7/3/12, so it would be showing points for the 2012 season in the 150-300 range if it was for the season not 10-20 range which it is and I perceive to be PPG, yes?
P.S.
Love the ability to combine draft picks & players. Any chance the PPR & flex become options?

Thank you for the comment. You are 100% correct and I have updated the DPTA to reflect these changes.
I would like to incorporate PPR/Flex as well as Auction at some point so stay tuned. Thanks for checking out the site!
Is there a reason the analyzer does not come up wit any points for Jimmy Graham? Thanks!
I am not having an issue, Jimmy Graham 10.2 points. Would you mind checking again?
I just put it in the third line instead ofthe second and it worked. Thanks!
This is exactly what I needed for my league! Thank you!
Thanks for checking FFPrep out Andrew.
Mark! i am so new to this, I wish I had participated in the trading office when we were trading together.
anyway, the coworkers at Lexus have me in this years Fantasy Football and am all over your website. NICE JOB! -vahagn
Good luck Vahagn, let me know if you have any questions
This is awesome! Our leagues 10 teams with 3 keepers so we’re essentially starting at pick 40. I’m thinking of trading Jones-Drew and pick 12 (which is really pick 42) for Cam Newton and pick 26 (really pick 56). According to your analyzer, I should do this. However, I’m wondering where the value for MJD (15) comes from. He’s still just below Arian Foster (15.8), which – considering his holdout – seems high.
Paul, you’re right that does seem high. I updated MJD in the rankings, but if he were to play a full season we would project him to score 15 points. You are correct though, while his ppg may be 15, the number of games he will probably play is less than Arian Foster. I will think about this one to try to come up with a solution in the future. Thanks for the input.
No worries, I just noticed that you updated it on 8/15 when it was reasonable to believe MJD was going to be there. I suppose holdouts are difficult to account for when you have no idea when/if the they’ll come in. Thanks for a cool tool!
There is no way Aaron Rodgers is projected to have less points than Ben Roth and no way Owen Daniels is projected to have less than Kyle Rudolph. Needs to be fixed. Plus, it should have something that takes into account that there is only 4 weeks left in the reg fant seas (dont project the whole season if we are in week 10).
You are right this is pulling from a different data source, please use the Trade Analyzer: http://ffprep.com/fantasy-football-tools/trade-analyzer/
Jason – this issue has been resolved. Thanks
Picks #101 to #220 dont show any values
Thanks Ryan. Should be all set now.
